Happy Wednesday, all! Apologies for missing last week’s post. I just received notes on my latest adult project, so I’ll be in the writing cave for the next five weeks trying to pound out a revision before my next deadline. I’m going to do my best to keep up with posts here, but if I miss a day here and there, you know why!

Last week we talked all about the submission process, so this week I thought we could dive into what happens once an author accepts an offer from a publishing house. Typically, the timeline between accepting an offer and seeing your book on the shelf of your neighborhood indie is around 18 months! This is usually very shocking to new writers, so let’s talk about what happens during that year and a half.
